My desire is to present clear and solid Biblical teaching in an age when there is so much compromise. In Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians we read,

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV

So why are there so many divisions within the Church today? Why do we have so many different understandings of biblical doctrines? I believe that God’s word is not complicated, and can be easily understood by those who are willing to accept what it says, and to put it into practice in their daily lives. The problem comes when we will not accept what it really says, and instead, we put our own interpretation to it.

By God’s grace, I would like to examine different topics in Scripture, and search out what God is trying to say to us, and how we can apply this to our lives. There are many denominational “distinctives” that sometimes cloud our understanding. Let us come to the Bible with open minds and hearts, laying aside our preconceived ideas, and be  willing to receive and apply the truth.
